Responsibilities for Audit Supervisor:
Ability and desire to run client engagements from start to finish, includes planning, executing, directing, and completing audits, reviews, and compilations and managing to budget
Prepare, draft financial statements, and note disclosures
Supervise and train staff auditors and interns in the audit and review process
Identify problem areas and client issues and propose solutions to supervisors, managers, and partners
Develop and maintain great professional relationships with client staff
Up to date on standards and regulations and assist in communicating and implementing changes in the department
Experience
Auditing: 5 years (Required)
Microsoft Excel: 5 years (Required)
License/Certification: CPA (Preferred)
Qualifications
Bachelor's in accounting
Master's in accounting or eligible to sit for the CPA Exam (preferred)
5 years experience in public accounting
Knowledge of GAAP
CPA certification or in process of obtaining certification
Ability to supervise/lead projects, multi-task, think independently, and problem solve
Verbal and written communications skills
Computer and technical skills including, Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
Organizational and time management skills Experience in the CIRA industry (preferred)
