POSITION PROFILE
The Dealer Brand Manager is an outside sales position with primary focus on increasing Knoll sales through our dealer platform. The Dealer Brand Manager is responsible for strengthening the relationship with all Dealer Sellers, Designers and Ancillary Specialists to drive Knoll specifications and product sales.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Dealer Brand Manager time allocation goal: 70% Sales / 25% Training / 5% Service
Increase Dealer Sales Volume
Influence Dealer product solutions to increase sales across the constellation of Knoll products
Work with Dealers on competitive bids, helping to specify Knoll products for required applications
Partner with dealer sales representatives on new customer sales opportunities and development of product mix including open plan and ancillary products
Drive understanding of Knoll and Muuto product offering, including the Essentials program
Build strong relationships across all roles inside Knoll dealerships
Measure & understand key business metrics of assigned Dealers (sales, orders, product mix, share of wallet)
Helps Dealers to navigate internally within Knoll
Spend at least 2/3 of working hours at dealer locations
Training & Development
Extensive knowledge of Knoll products to offer Dealers alternative solutions to competitive products
Provide onboarding to new Dealer associates within the Region, selling the entire portfolio of Knoll brands
Host and provide on-going education as required on products, processes, and competition, through in person or remote delivery of training to Dealer associates
Partner with Marketing to arrange and deliver successful product and program launches
Programs
Partner with Dealer associates to promote The Essentials Program and through training, updates and tools/resources available to them
Help drive dealer adoption of CET Designer software
Communicate product and program feedback, showroom needs and changes to enhance the Knoll brands
Required Skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build consensus and rapport
Strong business acumen with knowledge of general business metrics
Technical Product knowledge to add value to RFP process
High level of competitive product knowledge
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent sales and presentation skills
High degree of professional judgement and strong decision making ability
Required Experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
3-5 year’s experience in contract furniture industry including design specification, sales, and/or dealer management
