Summary
Waller is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure and Cloud Services Manager in the Nashville, TN area. Reporting directly to the CIO this position will oversee all aspects of the infrastructure technology and cloud services portfolio (datacenters, HQ, branch offices, Azure and AWS) to ensure a reliable 24x7 operation. In addition to daily operations, the role will have oversight for infrastructure personnel, infrastructure vendor management, cloud services vendor project management for projects.
Responsibilities
Design and execute strategic plans to assure infrastructure capacity attains current and future needs.
Develop, execute and oversee procedures, policies and related training plans for infrastructure project management and infrastructure administration.
Manage and establish priorities for maintenance, design, development and analysis of entire infrastructure systems inclusive of LANs, WANs, internet, security, audio/video/telephony communication, wireless and cloud implementations.
Manage Servers (physical, virtual, cloud) and associated compute fabrics
Manage Data Storage solutions and services
Manage enterprise and local network design and optimization including network diversity
Manage Infrastructure related Cloud services (IaaS, PaaS) and 3
rd
party datacenter provider services
Conduct research and recommend changes in services, products, protocols and standards to support improvement efforts and procurement.
Design, implement, manage, and test IT Infrastructure Disaster Recovery solution for organization.
Monitor infrastructure performance, proactively alert on emerging conditions, and provide presentation statistics.
Prepare and maintain all records, documentation, and files in relation to infrastructure assets, network performance and problems.
Ensure proper security levels, patching, and updates on network, infrastructure equipment, and servers
Negotiate with service providers, vendors and contractors for infrastructure-specific products and services
Perform feasibility studies and impact analysis for different infrastructure upgrade projects, conversions and improvements.
Analyze, resolve problems and provide backup to firm telephony systems.
Implement, manage, test, and maintain backup solutions and redundant systems.
Prepare, implement, and manage future migration to SD-WAN architecture and technology
Assist in management and maintenance of Active Directory services
Qualifications
Solid knowledge and experience with Cisco networking (Cisco Certification such as CCNA or higher preferred)
Solid knowledge and experience with Fortinet systems (Fortinet NSE Certification preferred)
Solid knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and higher operating systems (Microsoft Certification such as MCP, MCSA, or higher preferred)
Solid knowledge and experience with VMware vSphere 6.0 and above in an enterprise environment (VMware Certification such as VCTA or VCP preferred)
Solid knowledge and experience with the following: Enterprise LAN/WAN networking, Enterprise firewalls, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Active Directory services
Knowledge and experience with enterprise telephony systems such as Cisco, Microsoft Teams, and related telephony technologies
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure services
Knowledge and experience with AWS
Knowledge and experience with enterprise wireless networking technologies such as Cisco, Meraki, etc.
Knowledge and experience with enterprise SD-WAN solutions and technologies
Experience managing a multi-office enterprise infrastructure environment with datacenters, managing an engineering team, and working with 3
rd
party partners, consultants, vendors, and providers.
