Against that backdrop, we are seeking an accomplished and motivated leader for the role of Associate Director to lead the Pharmacy Benefits Manager Digital Product team. The Associate Director will be a key leader in Humana's Digital Health & Analytics product experience organization, and will directly manage a team of Humana associates and contractors, while also leading extensive dotted line, matrix relationships across many functional areas internally.
In addition to a focus on delivery of PBM products, this position will enable you to learn from a group of strong subject matter experts, while challenging you to prioritize work for the Enterprise across as many as eight delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
Manage a large portfolio of Pharmacy-related consumer and internal associate facing digital products responsible for meeting all Regulatory and Compliance guidelines, while providing 100% accurate information related to Humana's pharmacy related offerings.
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Product Managers managing the prioritization of development teams.
Partner and collaborate cross-functionally with the Humana Pharmacy organization, peer product management teams, and supporting technology teams, to drive products to market.
Provide strategic direction and product development leadership for Humana's many PBM-related digital products. One such product includes the internal proprietary drug pricing tool used by agents, prospects, and members to forecast future-year drug costs. This includes the design, copy, and User Interface for Humana's Rx Calculator tool, as well as multiple external APIs providing pricing to other consumers such as brokers and groups.
Responsible for the business liaison to Production Support Management teams for all incident ticket management and resolution for many pharmacy digital tools.
Manage multiple digital budgets to prioritize development across multiple teams and business owners to provide the most value to the organization with the resources available.
Guide the team to develop best practices for ensuring a high bar of quality by both implementing strategies and demonstrating strong technical knowledge and skills.
Embrace and contribute to Humana's Agile methodology of working, including emphasizing the importance of collaborating with other areas across the business towards ensuring alignment to enterprise efforts.
Execute in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
Recruit new team members and actively participate in the hiring process.
Key Candidate Qualifications
10 years with progressively increased responsibility. Primary skill-set desired is Product Management, with experience in Digital experiences or Technology/IT a plus.
Self-starter and independent leader who is comfortable in both executive interactions and participating in detailed problem solving.
Good decision-making skills on sometimes limited information.
Excitement and a record of success in building team culture, and in attracting, developing, and motivating top talent from inside and outside of the organization. This includes preparing direct reports for expanded responsibilities, and expanding and elevating the capabilities and performance of their team.
Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the polish, poise, and executive presence that will ensure effective interaction with audiences at all levels.
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, such a balancing internal business partner needs across various partner teams.
