SUMMARY
Iyabak Construction, LLC, a subsidiary of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., is currently seeking a qualified QA/QC Lead/Business Development Manager to manage all work performed by Iyabak. QA/QC Lead/Business Development Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring that all quality control tasks are carried out, documenting the construction process and inspecting each stage of construction. Construction QA/QC Lead/Business Development Managers must also work directly with other managers to ensure that all projects meet the minimum standards of quality set forth by the company. The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to prospect for new clients by networking, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The preparation of the companies QA manual control and supervision of all amendments and revisions
Control and the distribution of all the companies quality documentation
Monitor all quality related activities on the project
Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the company’s management
Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals.
Attend all pre-bid meetings and coordinate all project requirements with the project bidders.
Attend client quality management meetings
The preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement.
Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements
Monitor the disposition of all issued nonconformance reports.
Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required.
Coordinate all quality related correspondence with the customer’s representatives.
Monitor statistical method reporting.
Control all archive documentation upon the completion of the project.
Occasional travel to remote jobsites will be required.
Report and escalate information to management, as needed
Perform risk management and quality control to minimize project risks
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Attend, facilitate, coordinate all required meetings and progress updates
Providing onsite project oversight and leadership of quality control and risk mitigation
Monitors and manages quality control, safety, and efficiency for construction operations.
Interacts with construction operations management to document and monitor changes in construction procedures.
Prospect for potential new clients
Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization
Research and build relationships with new clients
Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns and objectives
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Required (Minimum) Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Minimum 10 years of experience working in the construction industry
Experience with OSHA, EM 385-1-1 and other regulatory requirements and industry standard
Experience directing, training, and motivating field personnel.
Experience in a strong business, construction management, and delivery methodologies background.
Must be able to obtain military base passes and be able to operate motor vehicles on military installation.
Understanding of federal construction requirements and ability to adhere and manage.
Experience managing federal government construction projects is a requirement.

•      Familiarity with other PC software packages typically associated with construction
•      Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in fast paced environment
•      Proficient or have the ability to learn Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
•      Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with customers                and vendors.
Ability to assess site exposures/construction risks and be able to appropriately analyze cost and reflect these in an estimate

Must have ability to spend long hours at a work station operating a computer or in the field supervising crews, have and good motor skills, some travel to job sites may be required, and the performance of duties will require ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs. Also, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders, and navigate work areas under construction. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds while performing the duties of this job. Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

This position requires the ability to maneuver around and construction sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients.  Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for sitting, walking or standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, throwing, reaching, squatting, stretching, bending for prolonged periods of time; at times lift and carry as much at 50 pounds; near visual acuity to review written documentation; and ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and trains direct reports, if necessary.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
