MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the execution of strategy and planning for supply chain digitization, product tracing initiatives.
Work with SC Data Director in shaping supply chain of data strategy for faster and effective decision making.
Perform supply chain operational data maturity assessment in conjunction with master data organization in order to ensure operational data quality is accurate.
Manage implementation of assigned cross-functional strategic data initiatives such as SC visibility, Logistics Control Tower.
Under the leadership of data director, partner with SC Data Lead, BI&A and Commercial organizations to translate business strategies into data roadmap.
Manage and lead the implementation of the strategic data projects to provide accurate data insight across supply chain.
In partnership with IT, create effective data choreography protocols with external SC partners (CMO’s, 3PLs, Wholesalers, Customers) for real/near real time visibility to support accurate decision making.
Collaborate with E2E supply chain and external stakeholders such as BI&A and Commercial Organization in delivery of key SC data programs.
Owns the overall project management activity for the Global Serialization group. Provide status updates on data programs/ serialization projects to the GSC PMO, Steering Committees, etc. assembling the corresponding information on appropriate reporting tools and presentations.
Scans marketplace (both pharma and non-pharma) to continuously identify best-in-class data capabilities that can be adapted and leveraged by the organization
Creates and ensures ongoing refresh of data standards for EAN, GTIN and GLN governance
Enables/influences industry best practices around data standards
Takes ownership of and leads coordination of data management, clean up and standardization capabilities.
Sets up required master data attributes such as GS1 Prefix, GLN numbers, GTINs, EAN# & NHRN#s, EMVS attributes & shares with SC partners as required, to support regulatory requirements
Provides requirements from markets and pilots to IT for new capabilities and ensures requirements have been met.
Takes ownership of the Business Process documentation (i.e., changes to the process must be approved by the owner)
Develop and communicates data management process standards including:
Process Flows
Corresponding narrative
Inputs and outputs to and from other processes
Communicating the standard data process to the team
Works with the Business Owners, SMEs, and PMs to ensure that the teams follow the process
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL
Education:
BS or BA degree in Information Systems, supply chain management or equivalent
Experience / Knowledge Desired:
At least 15 years E2E Supply Chain data management experience with at least 3 Years in serialization , 5 Years in data management and 5 years as a project manager; proven track record of cross-functional collaboration to drive tangible results
Extensive experience and understanding in implementing enterprise information technology / ERP solutions in association with successful critical change management & communication elements; demonstrated passion for data quality / integrity
Demonstrated experience of leading a large scale SC data effort for a large (10B revenue), big data and complex business in pharmaceutical, consumer or technology industries
Sound understanding of GMP complaint processes and experience in working with the key stake holders to support investigations, CAPAs
Sound understanding of End to End supply chain & order to cash processes is required, with track record of project implementations in these areas
Experience in Commercial Operations space is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, organized and able to prioritize tasks to meet multiple deadlines
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills is a must
