Preferred Qualifications
2-3 of facilities management experience or related experience.
Background in building services, engineering, administration, or office management preferred.
Must be well organized and detail oriented.
Will be managing facilities contracts including landscaping, cleaning, maintenance, HVAC, elevators.
Will be responsible for maintenances orders, routine inspections and repairs, and will partner with building security.
Job Summary
Supervise work activities of facility personnel. Assign duties, inspect work, and investigate complaints regarding services and initiates corrective action.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in facilities services.
Assign work to associates, following material and work requirements.
Train workers in janitorial methods and procedures and proper operation of equipment
Confer with appropriate staff to resolve personnel problems
Issue supplies and equipment to workers to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
Performs facilities duties as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Ensures associates have the tools and training necessary to do the job.

Leads a group or team of support, craft, or lower level professional associates.
Work Environment
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment that may be heavy (50 pounds) or awkward.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education and Experience
Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5 years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
