SUMMARY

A successful candidate will drive our Grow, Deliver, sustain strategy through additional involvement in various special projects as assigned in addition to this role.

Collaborate and work with several internal departments; adapt to varying customer personalities to effectively manage these large high-volume accounts.

Must be effective and efficient in time management; successfully negotiate and assess the best decisions for the company and the customer; troubleshoot issues at plant level for quality, yields and production that will be presented to plant management; provide yield tests that will allow the plants ability to meet specifications and yield standards that will give the customer a competitive price to compete in retail.

Additional responsibilities: Provide cutting methods and procedures that allow plant and the retailer to be successful; give clear direction and guidance to the prospective retailer that will result in quality product at a reasonable price.

Retail Customer Responsibilities

Retail audits, troubleshooting, understanding of refrigeration at retail; ability to consult with retailers on the following, operations, and procedures.

Must feel comfortable presenting and articulating to customers that gives confidence of your professional knowledge; understand retail case layouts, sets, procedures, troubleshooting store performance on all levels; be able to consult with the retailer to make improvements that will increase sales.

Experience : Minimum five years of Case Ready plant Experience and or five years of retail experience in management.

Education : Bachelor’s degree in animal science, business or equivalent experience preferred.

Computer Skills : Must be proficient using Word, Outlook, Excel spreadsheets.

Complete understanding of cutting, merchandising, and producing case ready, beef, pork, and ground beef needed; requires full understanding of building retail specifications, that will successfully attract the consumer with eye appeal and satisfactory quality product in each package.

Must show the following qualities : Integrity, Intelligence, Interpersonal skills; ability to be innovative and inspire others; be relational; be Resilient; create goals, deliver them; make good decisions; quality minded.
