Job Summary
This person, working with the General Manager is responsible for directly overseeing front of the house operations for the outlet. Effectively communicating with management teams, supporting departments and all team members under your direction. Coordinating team efforts to ensure a superior guest experience. Promoting the guest experience. Drive sales along with a profit driven focus that meets financial goals while staying in compliance with all regulations, laws, union contracts, policies and procedures.
Position Responsibilities
Accountable for and dedicated to ensuring service commitments, standards/expectations, financial goals and policies/procedures are consistently upheld
Supports the objectives of the General Manager
Builds rapport, commitment, and loyalty with team members and guests
Ensures that service is carried out in accordance with established policy
Hires, trains and evaluates all restaurant personnel utilizing established SOPs and training manuals. Enforces food and beverage policies and procedures to support operational and business objectives
Coaching for consistent and peak performance from all team members by enforcing all company and food and beverage policies and procedures
Oversees and ensures all health, OSHA/safety and sanitation standards, maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment
Leads by example by modeling the company culture, integrity and overall performance.
Ensures sanitation compliance throughout restaurants
Handles customer complaints
Oversee profit and loss by following cash control, maintaining inventory, ordering, reviewing financial reports, and recommending action when needed.
Responsible for compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility
Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
Essential Functions
Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment
Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas
Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours
Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs
Requirements
Whats Required
Bachelors degree in a related field preferred
Three to five years experience in full-service restaurant management.
Proven leadership skills
Must be passionate about customer service and restaurant operations
