The Director of Sales Planning & Analysis develops sales, marketing, and financial strategies to increase company profits and boost sales. The Director and their team studies and analyzes various business data and financial information, including market trends, sales figures, and inventory control processes.u00A0Responsible for identifying and maintaining the optimal TAM, Quota, and sales structure by leveraging comprehensive and complex design methodologies, competitive analysis, forecast, and other relevant data resources. Plan and design the territory alignments for all sales teams to optimize the allocation of resources based on business needs. Evaluate ongoing organizational needs and recommend possible restructuring for situations such as new product launches, promotions, etc.u00A0The Director will work cross-functionally with multiple departments including sales, marketing, operations, finance, product, and IT. This role will play point in building and expanding our high performing sales operations team, influence our sales/customer success efforts and strategies and contribute to a highly productive, data-driven, and analytical team.Job Description Benchmark competitive programs and policies to make recommendations to Executive Team as needed to remain competitive in the marketplace.Develop marketing and financial strategies to increase company profits and boost sales.Stimulate continuous enhancement in sales reporting packages given to internal management team, senior leadership team and our owners.Provide the Business Development leadership team with guidance, insight and recommendations focused on revenue growth, sales effectiveness, and performance u00A0 Institute and support sales process and methodology field sales, marketing, and customer service teams focused on improving order win rates, visibility, and market share both at a product and regional levelsResponsible for leading short-term and long-term planning operating mechanisms that drive inputs for continuous improvement and long-term growth strategiesWork with Finance to analyze trends in orders, backlog, and product lines and work with Regional Sales team members across sales teams to provide necessary insights to drive higher performance results at the region level Analyze percentage penetration and HOP focus on transition accounts, review success of program and potential new targets and definitions for growthCreate leading indicators and metrics (standardized) that can be acted upon to improve overall sales performance at the regional levelu00A0 Work with cross-functional teams such as Customer Service, Marketing, Fulfillments, Accounting, Data Services and Product teams on prospect servicing items and prospecting related activities to drive continuous improvements in the lead / opportunity generation processesu00A0 Track and communicate weekly progress on all sales activities to field sales, marketing, and management teams as appropriateInstitute, manage and drive structured, regular business processes, analytics and reporting to Regional Sales Directors for weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, leveraging tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM and other data sourcesAssist in transition planning of new sales team members and on-boarding processu00A0 Update variable incentive compensation plans and facilitate dispute resolutionProvide insight and guidance for Sales resource optimization and regional team alignment based on insights from Territory ManagerManage and report on revenue forecasting using sales methodology and forecasting tools, drive adoption of forecasting tools and dashboards within respective regionsMaintain and modify sales territories and provide comprehensive analysis of territory alignment decisionsFacilitate weekly pipeline reviews with sales managers and Territory Manager to review impact of team, possible improvements and/or recommended new focusCoach, mentor, and develop team members, oversee the delegation and quality of work, set annual performance targets for individuals and the team, conduct performance reviews, and manage to department budgets.u00A0Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Management, Marketing, Business AdministrationMinimum 10 years of experience in an analytical leadership role5 years of supervisory experience in providing coaching, development, appraisal review of personnelu00A0SkillsDemonstrated strong written and oral communication skillsDemonstrated ability to lead and influence within an entrepreneurial organizationDemonstrated ability to be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesStrong critical thinking and analytical skills; experience with financial reporting and analysisDemonstrated ability to identify root causes of problems, generate and evaluate creative solutions, implement fact-based resolutions quickly and effectivelyDemonstrated record of meeting commitments and delivering resultsMust be able to quickly learn and apply complex pricing conceptsMust be a self-starter, with sound decision-making skillsThe salary range for this position is $132,000 - $180,000; commensurate salary to be determined based on skills, professional background and expertise.u00A0 This position is also eligible, pursuant to applicable eMoney policies, for the annual bonus program, retirement contributions, health insurance, sick leave, parental leave and paid time off.u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0
