This role also holds the managerial responsibility over the process and tool team of GEPC NAM. The process and tool team is responsible for EHS, S&OP, inventory, lean and inventory for GEPC NAM. As the Sales and Operations Planning Manager you will:
Oversee all strategic S&OP and Demand Planning activities across GE Power Conversion North America for parts and projects
Create and drive continuous improvement of demand planning and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes customized to GEPC NAM, with high-mix-low quantity nature on parts and customized nature on project
Lead parts and projects demand planning, fulfillment and production and labor capacity planning
Facilitate monthly demand forecast aggregation, including consensus between functions and stakeholders.
Establish trust and alignment with internal and external partners to the optimal material and production strategies for parts, internal partners include manufacturing facilities in Europe, India and Latin America
Establish trust and alignment with internal and external partners to the optimal labor resource strategies, resource including field service engineer, engineer, program manager and other related resource
Develop material and labor capacity simulation process to run sensitivity analysis for growth
Team manager: Manage the operation of process and tool team, setting up goal, tracking and appraisal mechanism with the team.
Responsible for the results and ensure team’s delivery as per targets
Compliant with relevant policy and process requirement of GE and GEPC
Develop long term capability and bandwidth growth plan for team and team members
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
Minimum 10 years operation, supply chain, project management or resource management or related experience
Minimum 3 years people manager experience
Desired Characteristics:
S&OP or similar planning experience for products and projects for organization with $100M annual revenue
Sound knowledge and relevant planning experience of power electrical products and project(MV, LV, rotating machinery, automation)
Working knowledge of modern manufacturing, material flow and improvement strategies in multi-national companies
Strong leadership skills. Ability to lead, contribute, and influence others in a team-based organization
Excellent organizational and people skills, ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner.
Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, and function specific software.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work in the US.
