The Infrastructure Delivery Manager is responsible for representing the delivery needs of Infrastructure Partners, such as application teams. This position will focus on the delivery of programs/projects initiated by the Global Stores Technology Group. • She/he will be responsible for removing infrastructure related blockers. • She/he will be responsible for collaborating and working with Infrastructure peer teams, vendors and partners on the solution and delivery of infrastructure needs from application teams. • She/he will be working with and engaging infrastructure engineering vendors and partners. • The Infrastructure Delivery Manager is responsible for evangelizing infrastructure platform standards with the application teams. • The Infrastructure Delivery Manager is responsible for working with the application teams in prioritizing infrastructure demand on an annual and ongoing basis. • She/he will be required to engage with senior leadership (VP and above) on a regular basis. This will require strong leadership and influence… • The Infrastructure Delivery Manager is responsible for providing visibility to their assigned application related portfolio on an ongoing basis. • She/he is responsible for driving increased demand through automation in service catalog while also providing requirements to foundation services to improve the overall data center service catalog and its services. • She/he is responsible for educating application teams on the infrastructure engagement processes and tools. She/he will be responsible to drive improvements to existing engagement processes and tools. • The individual is responsible for creating stand-up meetings, scope meetings, monitoring the progress of non-baseline and baseline activities, and infrastructure build sign-offs for any and all infrastructure that enter the data center environment for the Infrastructure Engineering Group. • She/he will be responsible for attending and representing the infrastructure delivery team in assigned application development team(s) program/project review meetings • Accountable for tasking RFS (Request for Services) and RFPs (Requests for Proposals) with other Infrastructure and non-infrastructure groups. • Accountable for finding and coordinating technology pollination opportunities in an effort to reduce errors into delivered builds, reducing operating expense with a heavy emphasis of increasing delivery efficiencies and reducing the time to deliver solutions to our business partners. • Participates in forming the vision for Infrastructure. Qualifications: • Bachelors in Computer Engineering or Equivalent Experience, masters' degree preferred. • 10 years of progressive experience in architecture, engineering and design capacities. • Ideal candidates will have progressive experience and demonstrated success in the solution and delivery across all aspects of enterprise infrastructure. • Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure competencies relevant to manage the operational adoption and support of new technologies. • In-Depth Data Center Operations, Infrastructure knowledge (storage, compute, virtualization, database, middleware, application server, network, etc.) and architectural capabilities. • Background/knowledge in retail Point of Sale (POS) solutions & technologies a plus. • Demonstrated relevant experience with Agile delivery methodology. Experience using Jira w/GreenHopper tool a plus. • Collaborative working with vendors, internal and external business partners is required. • Proficient in managing and developing relationships with multiple technical vendors. • Candidate will have demonstrated ability to solve complex problems in multi-vendor environment. • Candidate will be proficient in written and verbal communications.
