Construction Project Manager - Life Science Design Build
The Project Manager will take the lead on the firms ground-up, lab and life science projects. Projects are high-profile, up to $50M in value, and require strong technical skills.
Client Details
We are partnered with a reputable construction firm based out of Burlington, Massachusetts.
They have been in business for over 40 years, and have an excellent reputation in the market with over a 90% success rate with repeat clients.
They specialize in projects in the commercial, multi-family, and life-science space, both TI and Ground-Up projects north of $50M in value.
This firm continues to grow in headcount as their backlog of projects increases. They are currently at 100 employees, and did not make any COVID layoffs. They have an excellent retention rate which leads to constant support and a family like atmosphere.
Description
The Project Manager: Life Science Construction is responsible for:
1-2 Projects at a time (Life Science & Lab Projects)
Oversee & Lead team of Assistant Project Managers
Oversee specific subcontractors related to the project
Managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Profile
The right Project Manager - Life Science Construction has:
at least 5 years of construction experience
worked on jobs over $20 million in value (ground-up)
project experience within the Lab & Life Science sector of Construction
Strong leadership capabilities
Communication skills- both written & verbal
Management experience & ability to mentor and develop direct reports
Bachelor's Degree in a construction-related field
