Description
The Associate Director or Kubernetes leads the planning, design, and engineering of Humana's Enterprise Kubernetes environments across multiple Cloud providers. This role requires a solid understanding of Cloud architecture and Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
The Associate Director of Kubernetes performs technical planning, architecture development and sets the standards for Kubernetes computing environments. Develops specifications for new Kubernetes products and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies. This role will have a strong focus on innovation and developing the product roadmap for new capabilities in these environments. This role will have key influence over the future of runtime environments and will be a trusted advisor for our application teams. This leader will advance a team of highly specialized professional associates and contractors.
Required Qualifications
Enterprise experience leading, advancing, and supporting Kubernetes environments
Experience developing a Kubernetes lifecycle support model
Experience building/deploying infrastructure via CI/CD in Azure, GCP or AWS
6 or more years of technical experience
2 or more years of management experience
Must be passionate about creating speed to value for our customers
Work in an Agile methodology
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Experience with Terraform, GitHub, Argo CD, HELM
Experience with AKS, EKS or GKE
SAFe Agile certified
