The Order Domain Team
is responsible for organizing and publishing post-purchase customer order data for both internal and external stakeholders ensuring a consistent and exceptional customer journey while shopping with Best Buy.
A key component to the Order Team is making the most relevant post purchase data available in a usable fashion for key stakeholders. These stakeholders include customer experience teams, operations teams, engineering teams, and application support teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in day to day product team activities, driving high quality customer experiences and exploring what is possible with evolving technology and data science concepts and tools
Effectively translate business strategies into product strategies, roadmaps, and product specifications to deliver against our core customer value propositions and our company strategic and financial goals
Help manage the creation and maintenance of user stories and business requirements for new features and enhancements leveraging multiple work streams.
Work within a matrix organization collaborating with business stakeholders, user experience (UX) teams, project managers, data scientists, and other relevant Product teams
Analyze and provide reporting metrics to leadership on product growth to help drive day-to-day decision making.
Minimum Requirements:
2 years of relevant Product Management Experience
1 year’ experience with indirect team leadership to include coaching, mentoring, work direction
Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and leverage that analysis to make data driven product decisions
Proven ability to influence cross functional team(s) without formal authority
Proven ability to articulate clear and concise requirements for new products and new features
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years Product Management experience managing roadmaps, assessing value, developing cases, and prioritizing stories, epics and themes
1 years’ experience managing direct reports
Track record of project execution; completing and shipping excellent products on time and on budget
Experience and strong understanding of the software development cycle, design research and A/B testing methods, and web analytics
Ability to understand basic and complex architectural diagrams and data flows
