The Customer and Marketing practice of Deloitte is seeking customer-centered marketing leaders with hands-on experience driving transformative marketing efforts and executing digital-first campaigns. Ideal candidates will be accustomed to working with Fortune 500 companies or will have led agile marketing teams in a digital-first startup environment. We are looking for individuals who are adept at connecting marketing strategies to the operations and technology required for success.

Work you’ll do

Work at the intersection of marketing strategy, content and technology to support clients in transforming their marketing organizations and digital customer experiences across a broad base of industries. Specifically:

Take a human-centered approach to help our clients and some of the biggest brands today transform how customers engage with digital experiences

Define marketing strategies, value propositions and strategic imperatives for growth that reduce marketing costs, increase speed-to-market, and simplify digital delivery.

Understand how the content lifecycle works and how to strategize, create and produce content at scale in order to meet marketing objectives and business goals

Leverage marketing analytics and data-driven insights about customers, campaigns and markets to enhance content and performance to develop new digital customer experiences, business strategies and competitive advantage

Help build next-generation marketing teams and capabilities at Fortune 500 brands that seek to modernize their marketing operations, talent mix, and technology stacks

The team

Customer Strategy & Applied Design

Deloitte’s Customer Strategy and Applied Design practice serves as the strategy and experience arm of our Customer and Marketing portfolio of offerings.

Spanning the domains of customer experience, marketing strategy, commercial transformation and innovation/design, our team brings the insight and industry perspective to shape client agendas in the face of disruption. Our team is a diverse array of business strategists, operations experts, designers and technologists passionate about partnering with clients to create customer-centered experiences and solutions in the market.

Qualifications

Required:

A Bachelor’s degree

6 years’ experience in consulting and/or startups and/or digital marketing agency environment.

Strong understanding of marketing strategy and execution, including the interplay of content and enabling technologies (e.g. Adobe AEM and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud) to drive growth and activate customer engagement

Experience managing digital-first marketing programs and/or campaigns that leverage agile marketing tactics and capabilities, including dynamic content, SEO, test & learn, etc.

Strong understanding and ability to map customer journeys to ensure personalized and omni-channel based customer experience – ensuring content push, at the right time across the right channels to drive lead to loyalty

Demonstrated functional understanding of the following technology solutions and their impact to future operating models, processes and organizational structures

Marketing content management systems (CMS) and digital asset management (DAM) solutions

Marketing and advertising technology platforms (Adobe and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud)

Marketing analytics implementation and operations (Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics)

Strong project management skills; proven experience managing cross-functional teams, complex projects with multiple workstreams, and multiple stakeholders, ability to triage and prioritize many competing needs.

Prior experience working with large organizations to realize value from marketing (organizational design, digital marketing, cross-channel customer engagement, content strategy, design and development, performance marketing campaign management)

Excellent collaboration and communication skills to interact regularly with other strategists, creative, technical subject matter experts and business owners of varying organizational levels

Ability to travel up to 50% (While up to 50% travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

An advanced degree in an area of specialization marketing

Prior full-time agency or management consulting and client service experience
