DEPARTMENT : Cell Therapy Supply Chain Product Management & Supply Planning

Position Summary:
The Director of Global Supply Planning, Cell Therapy manages global supplies to ensure timely availability and optimum inventory of raw materials for clinical and commercial manufacturing. This role is also responsible to plan capacity for both internal and external parties and represents supply in the Sales & Operations Planning process. This position requires close working relationships with team members across different functions and at different levels within the organization. Strong leadership and an innate ability to collaborate and build relationships is critical.
The Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Roles & Responsibilities:
Optimize Bristol-Meyers Squibb's operations network and global supply chain. Lead development of robust, cost effective manufacturing and supply chain strategies to enable commercialization of the CAR T pipeline.
Collaborate with Senior Leadership team to determine strategic direction and financial goals and align on continuous improvement initiatives based on these needs
Act as source of knowledge in areas of supply chain best practices and methodologies. Integrate supply chain best practices with business processes to enhance supply chain efficiencies
Coordinate and oversee execution of the supply chain from strategy to commercialization
Develop and implement a best in class Global Supply Review process for CAR-T products
Deliver optimized capacity plans and production schedules and develop optimum inventory policies
Collaborate within Supply Chain as well as cross-functionally to ensure timely product commercialization
Conduct project scoping, chartering, execution strategy, process improvement activities, and change management for key supply chain projects
Drive continuous and significant improvements in delivery, cost, and working capital by optimizing network capacity utilization and material availability
Lead short and medium-term capacity planning analysis to identify capacity expansion requirements to support strategic objectives
Lead the development of supply strategies and planning for critical raw materials, including vector, used in autologous product manufacturing and ensure enough supply to support uninterrupted manufacturing
Skills/Knowledge Required:
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering. MBA or advanced degree, diploma, or certification in Supply Chain Management strongly preferred
12 years of related experience in Bio-pharmaceutical Manufacturing or supply chain for a reputable global Pharmaceutical, Consumer Products, or related company.
Knowledge of/exposure to world-class planning and execution processes, preferably supported by ERP and Advanced Planning Systems.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a leader of cross-functional teams and/or managing staff.
Demonstrated knowledge of matrix team management
Strong leadership and an innate ability to collaborate and build relationships is critical
Flexible and comfortable working with ambiguity
Ability to problem-solve and work in complex environment
Good understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulatory requirements.
Experience in developing and implementing global supply chain processes
