We have lots of great stuff happening in our insurance business, over the last 18 months we have created several new senior leadership positions including a new EGM of Insurance, Head of Claims and Head of Strategy, Digital & Business Analytics and with their other colleagues in the Insurance Leadership Team, they are driving an agenda that will sharpen our strategic planning and execution, build and strengthen our digital strategy and get clearer on how we use analytics and business information to make better decisions.This newly created position galvanises our commitment to the growth of our consumer (personal) lines business.
Based in Melbourne or Sydney, the Sales and Relationships Manager, consumer lines will be charged with maintaining and enhancing the proposition in our existing markets (Coles Partnership and Vets Choice) as well as being responsible for identifying and securing new partnerships.
The core responsibilities are:
Build and maintain relationships with existing and new partners; and major clients.
Drive profitable growth and product evolution in Personal Lines and Pet Insurance
Achieve annual predetermined profit, growth and retention targets from new and existing clients for Pet Insurance and Personal Lines.
Lead the sales/acquisition plan for Personal Lines and Pet Insurance working closely with the Head of Relationships & Customer Care, the regional network, Customer Care and General Manager, Insurance Portfolio
Prospect larger accounts for new business and assist account managers with new business where required.
Product/Sales Training of new staff & existing as needed and be a key product SME across the Insurance business.
Design, develop, deliver and monitor annual key client management plans.
Represent and provide presentations on behalf of Guild Insurance at various professional trade shows, functions and events as required.
This highly visible and important role will replay heavily on your current or previous experience in a similar role within insurance broking or underwriting. Broad general insurance product knowledge is important as is exposure to managing pivotal clients via association and or schemes. You are a leader and role model to others in upholding the company values, culture and performance standards. Variety in your role is key to your success and you are as fulfilled with the relationship-building as you are with the governance and operational aspect of your role.
