Make a difference in the lives of patients/residents in their personal journey with dementia as our Memory Support Director. In this role, you will develop and maintain a quality memory support program that therapeutically addresses the needs of dementia patients/residents and their family members. The goal is to provide patients/residents with the highest practical level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being and quality of life.

Position HighlightsPosition reports to the Nursing Home Administrator and is a member of the management team at the nursing center. *Plan, develop, organize, evaluate, and direct the overall operation of the memory support program.Deliver evidenced-based dementia care practices while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/resident and family satisfaction.*Foster an environment, policies, and routines that enable patients/residents to maximize their individuality, independence, and dignity.

Qualifications:

*Bachelor's degree required in Social Work, Nursing, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology or other related field. Master's degree preferred.

*Three or more years of direct experience (in respective discipline) in dementia care delivery.

*Two or more years of management/administrative/supervisory experience. *To protect the health and safety of our patients, residents, employees, family members, and the communities we serve, Genesis has implemented a universal COVID-19 vaccination requirement for employees, care partners and onsite vendors.
