Summary
The Program Manager is tasked with developing programs to support the organization's strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long-term goals. This position leads with strong attention to strategy, implementation, and delegation. The Program Manager is a highly skilled professional who helps organizations stay on schedule, on spec, and ultimately on an upward trajectory of success and growth.
Essential Duties
Organize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization
Develop new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization
Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle
Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives
Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement
Work closely with the project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors
Develop and manage the budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
Prioritize diversity, equity and inclusion in your everyday work to create an environment of respect
Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) of Widen and customer information held, in any form
Department-specific duties:
Marketing and Events
Organize, project manage, budget, and facilitate the execution of the Widen Summit annual users conference, Widen customer community events such as Widen Workshops, and Widen User Group meetings with the Widen Connect team
Recommend, select, organize, project manage, budget, and facilitate the execution of the Widen participation at in-person and virtual industry events
Coordinate communications with customers, partners, and event facilitators part of the programming, exhibition, sponsorship, and delivery of Widen-hosted events
Set and coordinate roles and responsibilities for Widen employees participating in Widen-hosted and industry events
Communicate offerings and expectations with Widen events and in-person marketing experiences across the organization
Research, provision, and administrate event management platforms to deliver Widen-hosted and sponsored events
Track and report key results and key performance indicators across Widen-hosted and Widen-sponsored events and live marketing experiences
Research and recommend new and emerging marketing experiences to build Widen brand awareness and strengthen customer relationships driving revenue growth
Manage Widen swag inventory and ordering system to strengthen customer relationships and Widen brand awareness
Manage high-value cross-functional initiatives such as the Desired Customer Outcomes projects and Executive Client Leadership Council (ECLC) and seminar series
Facilitate successful routing of marketing project requests to appropriate team and campaign leaders for various marketing projects, collateral, and creative deliverables
Recommend and set up scalable project management processes and software configurations to improve marketing project and program workflows
Essential Qualifications
Proven experience in program management
Proven stakeholder management skills
Understanding of project management
Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
Working knowledge of digital marketing
Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of applicable software programs based on specialty
