Job Details:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for supporting the International Sales Director in the sales and execution of international sales orders , market expansion , price discovery and timely communication of International business and information to key corporate stake holders. This entails strong communication skills with international sales people, offices and corporate staffing from multiple departments including strong relationships with pricing, production, scheduling, logistics and credit.

This position must support the Fresh Meats International sales and marketing plan as well as the company objectives for profit and strategic growth. This position is also involved in international business development as well as go to market strategies. Assisting with budget development and control is required. Projecting an appropriate image to international customers and dignitaries is critical.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred.

Experience: 5 plus years of Fresh Meat sales or production experience is preferred. Evidence of a prior leadership role is preferred.

Computer Skills: Standard computer skills required. Advanced skills preferred.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills. Multiple foreign language skills are an asset.

Position Specific Skills: Knowledge of Tyson Fresh Meats systems, departments, product codes, plant capabilities and product programs are desirable. Proven experience in communicating critical and influential material in a prior sales or equivalent role is preferred. The ability and desire to understand and embrace different worldwide cultures. Due to international time differences telephone calls last into the night.

Supervisory: As needed.

Travel: Multiple international and domestic trips per year.
