SUMMARY:

This position will provide administrative and advisory support to the Chief Legal Officer, Secretary and head of Governance and Corporate Affairs.o Responsibilities: Partners with the Chief Legal Officer (CLO) in proactively and efficiently managing schedules and upcoming events; manages the CLO’s travel and expenses; communicates with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining a high level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism; reviewing internal correspondence for priority and content; assists in preparing highly confidential documents; acts as a project manager for special projects at the request of the CLO, which may include: planning and coordinating off-site events, internal and external speaking events, presentations, disseminating information, organizing and prioritizing work, and complying with deadlines; creating general correspondences; and acting as a liaison on behalf of the CLO with other departments, external agencies, firms and high-level team members such as VPs, SVPs and Chiefs. This position will interact with Executive Officers, Board members, Board Liaison and the Chairman of the Board.

REQUIREMENTS:o Education: Requires education beyond high school. BS or BA preferred. Paralegal certification preferred.o Experience: 5 plus years of related experience in a corporate environment.o Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs to include Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams.o Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.o Travel: Minimal.o Special Skills: Must have proven track record of developing and managing sensitive relationships and demonstrating excellence in exercising discretion related to critical relationships for the company and the Chief Legal Officer. This position requires a high level of discretion and confidentiality, and the ability to work independently under general instructions in a timely manner. Must be detail oriented, have strong analytical skills; must exercise sound judgement, flexibility, initiative, and commitment.
