Description:
This role will help drive BMS Global Procurement’s global third party risk management program, including the ongoing deployment, management and monitoring of the TPRM technology tool in line with BMS’s Global policies and processes. The Associate Director of TPRM will:
•Provide leadership, direction, and management of BMS’s TPRM technology platform, which supports the BMS TPRM program.• Monitor, manage, and implement enhancements to the TPRM, to ensure that the tool helps drive effective risk management of Third Parties in accordance with BMS’s guiding principles, enterprise risk appetite and Regulatory requirements• Communicate with TPRM team and various stakeholder groups to update due diligence assessments, identify, monitor and mitigate risks of new and existing third-party vendors through remediation• Actively engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter specialists across various business units, corporate functions and risk groups to contribute to the effective management of third party relationships and ensure the tool is functioning in a consistent, repeatable and risk based manner across all risks dimensions• Partner with Procurement and Legal to ensure compliance of TPRM policies, procedures, processes and escalation of issues, as related to third party risks
• Work with business unit and risk domain stakeholders to facilitate supplier completion of due diligence activities; train suppliers on TPRM tool requirements and access• Manage regulatory and internal audit interactions related to the TPRM tool• Bring strategic and innovative thought leadership to TPRM key stakeholders to drive continuous collaboration, adoption and performance improvement opportunities• Together with TPRM leadership, develop standardized reporting to enable continuous monitoring against program goals• Work with TPRM leadership to develop reports to present to program steering committees, cross-functional management committees and the BMS Leadership Committee, as required• Promote and deliver continuous training and awareness on TPRM technology• Provide oversight of communication, training and change management efforts for TPRM technology related efforts• Actively participate in internal and external forums for developing and providing TPRM thought leadership
Minimum Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree required. CISA or similar credential is desirable.
-Minimum of 8-10 years of business experience or relevant experience
-Successful 6 year track record in a procurement organization, R&D or Commercial or Manufacturing Operations function or risk management consulting firm or relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects, people and resources in a global business environment.
• Experience with IT systems implementations in a global environment• Experience using technology to meet effective risk management strategic goals
• Experience with Third Party Risk Management or similar ERP systems; experience developing and deploying risk based scoring models to vendors and other third parties
• Experience with TPRM software platforms such as ServiceNow, RSA Archer, Ariba, and others• Exhibits thought leadership, insource/outsource analysis and understanding of key value drivers.• Familiarity/experience with Procurement Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Management, Compliance Management processes.• Strong analytical skills.• Able to define and understand the most critical issues.• Ability to develop actionable recommendations and implementation plans.• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).• Strong management skills, with emphasis on people development.• Outstanding cross-functional leadership skills; viewed as credible by business unit/functional leaders.• Able to get buy-in and commitment from both internal and external stakeholders.
