This leader will evolve our operations to ensure we remain highly resilient, drive agile product deployment, and host core capabilities that allow our customers to securely connect with Humana associates, systems and services.
In this role you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and recommending strategic information system technologies that will be required to apply new technology, processes, and software which improve our efficiency and effectiveness. Develops and establishes internal departmental standards and procedures. Actively monitors project activities and tracks progress on daily basis. Interfaces with other information technology staff to ensure accurate administration of Microsoft 2016 Active Directory.

Responsibilities
The AD of Active Directory Architecture ensures core infrastructure systems are maintained in accordance with relevant operational and security policies. This position maintains system operational standards and confirms that these capabilities perform within specified guidelines. The ideal candidate will have experience managing information technology projects that may involve systems and network engineers and/or other administrators through the full cycle of project delivery employing agile practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Modernize Humana's Active Directory, ADFS and other related architecture to leverage best-in-class technologies and processes
Define AD design standards, conforming with Security policies
Work across functions and business units to be the point person for Active Directory operations and engineering
Manage transitions and extends the AD service to our cloud and AAD environments.
Gather requirements and analyze data to build high-performance solutions
Determine where automation and simplification will increase efficiencies
Transition group from reactive to initiative-taking approach
Manage, grow, and develop a team of top talent
Interface with external vendors and infrastructure peers in a clear and concise manner
Improve monitoring and telemetry while increasing our AD team ability to analyze and troubleshoot impacts with log aggregation tools.
Collaborate with Infrastructure team members and others as necessary to assess near and long-term capacity needs
Build in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across segments and/or enterprise-wide
Makes decisions that are typically related to intradepartmental coordination, development and implementation of strategic plans, and business outcomes
Manage a minimum of 4 full time Associates and a small number of seasonal or overnight contractors.
Required Qualifications
6 or more years of experience designing, deploying, maintaining, and improving Active Directory, AAD or other Identity services.
3 years of recent and progressive technical experience in identity solutions
2 or more years of management experience
Experience in leading and facilitating technology transformations to cloud services such as AAD, M365 or Okta
Experience building and securing domains, OUs and GPOs
Automation is in your DNA.
Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong executive and people leadership skills; demonstrated track record of building and developing strong teams.
Experience leading legacy transformations at scale, while navigating complexity and regulatory frameworks
Capable of working up, down, and across an organization, effectively navigating a matrix to get things done and push boundaries, simultaneously.
Ability to lead and create 'followership' with an existing and expanding team
Deep technical experience in AD design, build and operational administration.
Strong engineering expertise, ideally applied in a progressive leading-edge organization with scale and complexity.
Prior experience in the health solutions industry
