SUMMARY:
This is a strategic role, responsible for supporting the Customer Planning and Development team, Sales and additional cross-functional team members to grow Tyson business at key assigned customers. This position is responsible for developing and delivering product growth opportunities by partnering with assigned Commercial Chain Accounts (Technomic Top 2-500).
Key expectations
Establish Tyson Foods as the indispensable strategic partner for their customers
Analyze data to provide insights and develop the sales story for customer growth
Provide innovation and promotional solutions based on insights-driven strategies
Work with the Customer Planning & Development and Innovation teams on the development and execution of strategic growth plans for assigned customers
Engage internal cross-functional teams as voice of customer and sales
Influence and motivate both internal and external stakeholders
Maintain and execute processes for best in class customer experiences
Sales development responsibilities needed to drive current sales with Emerging Chains
Key collaborative peer groups include Sales, SS&P, Innovation, Insights, Business Units, Culinary and R&D.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree. MBA a plus.
Experience: 2-3 plus years in foodservice and/or food agency experience preferred. Foodservice marketing innovation, Sales Development and or product development experience.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills with knowledge of Word Excel and PowerPoint.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills.
Presentation Skills: Ability to present confidently.
Travel: 3-5 domestic trips per year.
Relocation assistance available for those who qualify under the Tyson relocation policy.
