Job Description
The Associate Director, Vendor Management reviews and negotiates terms of vendor contracts and communicates with vendors to regarding day-to-day matters. Builds and maintains positive relationship with vendors and monitor vendor performance. Researches invoice and contractual issues and resolve discrepancies. Decisions are typically related to identifying and resolving complex technical and operational problems within department(s), and could lead multiple managers or highly specialized professional associates.
Responsibilities
Lead RxEducation Vendor Strategy and Performance
Own vendor relationship, value added improvements, and strategic direction
Hold vendors accountable to contract, performance and quality goals
Steward Vendor contracts and invoicing
Collaborate with aligned partners, growth teams, and quality/data partners
Create new processes, sales techniques, and growth streams to achieve enrollment goals
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
8 or more years of technical experience with Vendor Partners
2 or more years of management experience with indirect leadership of 1,000 associates
Demonstrated success in leading a team of sales leaders focusing on skill building, sales techniques, and creating an energetic culture
Progressive operational experience in leading a large telephonic sales teams
Demonstrated success in leading programs and initiatives that cross multiple departments and locations in partnership with Vendors
Leadership experience over a large metric-intensive operational unit
Ability to influence and make decisions based data and analytics
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong facilitation skills
Ability to mentor and empower associates to improve member experience
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
Certification with Six Sigma and/or the Project Management Institute
Prior experience in a healthcare or insurance setting
