WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
CPA required.
Minimum of 15 years of finance/accounting experience.
Global consumer products / multinational companies and/or accounting firm experience is preferred.
Engagement with board / related committees and developing and driving the agenda/decisions.
SAP (or other ERP systems implementation) experience is strongly desired.
Prior experience leading a diverse global team while driving an integrated team and talent agenda.
Providing outstanding leadership and encouraging and fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging.
Leading and executing ground-breaking change, with the ability to drive consensus across multiple business units and partners.
Can assess risk at a high level & bring early identification of potential issues.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a Sr Director, Converse Controller, to join our Converse team in our Boston Lovejoy headquarters! The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who can collaborate across the business and provide direction for the global accounting functions aligned with the company's overall strategic direction. You should be comfortable directing an international team of professionals spanning various topics and processes.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Ensures that the Converse financial statements are in accordance with the relevant accounting policies.
Partners across Converse operating segments to deliver ownership and accountability of end-to-end financial processes, systems, governance, internal controls & compliance.
Advocates for the Converse Controlling function, delivering value and insights that enable effective decision-making, risk mitigation, and informed trade-off decisions.
Identifies and supports the implementation of new and existing accounting policies, responding to evolutions in the business and legislative landscapes.
Connects Converse's business strategies and priorities to the financial statement implications, including informing forecasts and business decisions.
Ability to make decisions using technical accounting knowledge and/or Nike Controlling best practices.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report to the Nike VP, Consumer & Marketplace Controller. You will lead Converse Controlling teammates in Boston, Amsterdam, and Shanghai. You'll partner closely with the Converse CFO and leverage interactions across the broader Nike and Converse teams to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the Converse financial statements.
