Aon is looking for a Director – Emerging Property Risk Control We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Property Risk Control – Account Management Director to work in the United States. This position will support Aon’s Commercial Risk Solutions, Global Property Risk Consulting group. This position can be based anywhere in the US. The Director for the Account Management group, which is part of Property Risk Control, US, will perform a combination of customer focused activities as well as product and business development. This new position will focus attention on address client property risk management needs related to emerging risks such as Supply Chain Risk and Climate Change Risk.ResponsibilitiesProject Management (Account Engineering) – Act as primary collaborator with client or Aon team. The project manager is responsible for leading delivery of work product to the client as well as quality and timeliness. This would be for a small number of high-profile clients.Product Development – Improve current results and help build innovative solutions for the emerging risks our clients are facing today.Business Development – Support written RFP responses, participate in oral presentations to clients, advise and educate colleagues of our solutions in sales meetings and team callsInnovation – Embrace the digital world. Identify new or improve existing digital solutions.Perform related projects with a focus on supply chain risk quantification and mitigation and climate change risk assessment and vulnerability assessments and building out the current team capabilities and identification and implementation of additional resources neededRequirementsMinimum 10 years of proven insurance industry experienceExperience in Account Engineering or similar roleExpert interpersonal skills required to articulate vision and solutions to clients and colleaguesEducationB.S.
