The Field Sales Manager is part of our Growth team with market oversight for the consumer sales channel, which is responsible for generating new patient enrollments through engagement with the community and individual seniors, with the objective of procuring new patients.
Responsibilities
The Field Sales Manager leads a team of salespeople who generate new patient enrollments through engagement with community partners, health plan brokers and individual seniors. They interact with prospective patients by leveraging strong, lasting relationships with community partners, hosting community events that introduce our brand and special model of care, and supporting health and well-being activities in our primary care centers and virtually.
The Field Sales Manager's responsibilities include:
Recruiting , motivating and retaining a best-in-class consumer sales team, fostering accountability for sales targets
Accountability for achieving market growth goals and performance management against targets for individual salespeople, primary care centers and the overall market
Lead, motivate, develop and support a consumer sales team within the market
Accountable for achieving market growth goals and performance management against targets at individual, clinic and market level
Developing relationships with strategically important community partners and brokers to create partnerships that lead to opportunities for the Field Sales team to enroll patients
Leveraging our CRM tool (Salesforce) to support lead cultivation and management that optimizes sales process and maximizes sales for the market
Developing tools programs and capabilities that can be deployed to support the Ffield Ssales team, including promotional programs, new categories of community partners and innovative lead development techniquesProcuring and managing partners that provide access to local community organizations (e.g. retailers, service organizations, food banks, etc.)
Acting as a key member of the market's Growth team supporting the strategy developed by the Market President and Local Growth Leader through collaboration with marketing, B2B sales, market operations, and analytics teams to develop growth strategies and drive overall market performance
.Optimization of CRM tool (Salesforce) for lead development, tracking, analytics and compensation purposes
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as business needs dictate
Required Qualifications
Managed Health Care experience focusing on our Medicare population
5 years' experience in a sales leadership role in healthcare, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and retaining top performers
Demonstrated understanding of and experience in leading, motivating and developing salespeople in a dynamic and changing healthcare environment
Proven aAbility to operate and stay organized and effective in a fluid and fast-paced multitask environment that requires managing many and varied tasks and leadership effortsand stay organized
Thorough knowledge and understanding of the entire sales process
Strong interpersonal, relationship development, presentation/management and , communication, and technology skills
Strong process orientation (effective and efficient ways to get things done, organize people and activities, set goals and measures, set up plan to monitor progress)
Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Skills for communication and interaction across cultures
Experience utilizing a CRM (e.g. Salesforce) to track and manage engagement and outcomes
