Description

Community Solutions Inc. is looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Case Management Team at the Day Reporting Center (DRC) which serves as an essential resource for clients who were formerly involved in the justice system and are now re-entering the community. The Case Manager Supervisor works with the client by providing not only a safe space to explore challenges but also provides guidance to find housing assistance, assists with finding basic needs such as food and clothing and the ability to meet many parole requirements. You will help lead a team of Case Managers who are helping to guide clients in their development and assist them to become a positive influence in the community. In this role you will provide general and supervisory case management duties while ensuring community safety and effective program operation through internal and external monitoring of client activities and program services. The well-suited candidate should be ready to work in a multifaceted and fast paced environment as well as work collaboratively with clients and co-workers.

Schedule: M-F 9am-5pm

Community Solutions Inc. (CSI) is a nonprofit organization that promotes the responsible citizenship, accountability, and well-being of individuals and families involved, or at risk of involvement, in the child welfare, juvenile justice, or criminal justice system. Since CSI’s founding in 1962, it has been a pioneer in the community-based service. We have been delivering supervision, treatment, and comprehensive individualized services to help clients interact more effectively in their communities and become productive citizens. Using this plan we built the first ever halfway house in New England which has now been replicated and grown to almost 50 programs in 9 states. For over 50 years, CSI has been building upon its successful foundations and has been expanding its services to serve thousands of adults, youth, and families each year.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Includes but are not limited too:

Perform all duties and responsibilities of case manager, including carrying a caseload as required by program needs, as relates to counseling, case record management, intake assessment, discharge preparation, aftercare services, security, resource management and facility maintenance.

Supervise Case Manager staff, relating to both security and case management.

Oversee staff response to all shift problems and emergency incidents.

Review all client related paperwork, regarding content, timeliness and quality. Review all client files on a monthly basis for organization and content.

Monitor client compliance with treatment stipulations and recommend modifications to program director.

Monitor staff performance and provide regular feedback to program director on all staff.

Assist program director in developing, leading and supervising client group meetings, program services and counseling sessions. Monitor and evaluate group activities on an ongoing basis.

Assist program director in training staff in areas of security procedures, client supervision, client paperwork and case management duties.

Supervise the completion of urine collections, telephone spot checks and employment and home site visits of clients to verify and document client movement and record information.

Monitor shift operation for compliance with Agency policy and procedure, applicable standards and relevant contractual policy.

Monitor staff compliance with all policies and procedures pertaining to the safety and security of clients, Agency property and the community.

Assist program director in setting agenda and participate in weekly staff meetings.

Perform all duties of program director during periods of his/her absence.

Participate in on call agency duty officer rotation as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required and one year experience in case management or similar field.

Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.

Ability to engage and develop collaborations with community agencies.

Previous assessment experience preferred.

Substance Abuse Counselling Certificate preferred but not required.

Experience with Microsoft Office.

COVID 19 vaccination required or negative test prior to start.
