Job Summary: The Insurance Operations Manager will serve as a resource of insurance knowledge to Operations, Product, Sales, Account Management, and other areas of the company. You will provide guidance to Sales, Account Management, and Customer Service teams and their managers with respect to escalated situations involving customers, carriers, regulators, and premium finance partners, as appropriate.You will receive a competitive salary and work in a highly collaborative environment. Essential Job Functions:Remain current with industry best practices, carrier changes (appetite, underwriting, etc.) and market trends to provide appropriate guidance and insight to the organization.Work with Product and Technology teams to identify potential integration opportunities by analyzing and comparing carrier appetite to unmet opportunities.Provide input on partner opportunities and validation of insurance product content and accuracy.Complete review of mapping classifications and work with carriers on rationalization of underwriting questions for customer platform(s).Troubleshoot existing integrations to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and insurance regulations.Assist with review of book performance using key metrics and analyze results for operational improvements.Support operation of platform(s) and systems ensuring accuracy of content with an eye towards process improvement to identify areas for further efficiency or automation.Create ad hoc reports and analyses as requested. Qualifications: Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree or, in lieu of degree, equivalent education, training, and work-related experience2 years of experience in the insurance industryActive P&C Producer license preferred Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Excel; creating spreadsheet queries and data analysis, including but not limited to, creating pivot tables, filtering, merging and sorting spreadsheet dataSalesforce knowledge and carrier rating/policy management platforms Professional: Strong communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.Ability to analyze complex issues and provide impactful recommendations in a fast-paced environment.Strategic understanding of insurance underwriting and pricing principles.Detail oriented with analytical skills to support strategic solutioning.Organize and prioritize work with the ability to quickly adapt to changes in schedule.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.Ability to handle multiple initiatives with competing interests for time and evolving priorities.
