Profile

Barulich Dugoni & Suttmann Law Group, Inc. is looking for an HR Director to join our team. This individual will manage existing people and HR programs, implement changes and roll out new programs. To be successful in this role, this individual must be comfortable taking on a wide range of HR tasks, partnering with shareholders and executing effectively to achieve outcomes in a legal environment.

The goal of the HR Director will be to ensure the team’s operations run smoothly and effectively and deliver value to the organization as a whole.

Must have command of all Human Resource procedures: maintain personnel records, payroll administration, benefit programs, performance review process, workflow monitoring, staffing problem solving, staff mentor program, conflict resolution, and training. This is a full-time position.

Skills/Abilities:

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Excellent interpersonal skills

Highly organized Computer proficient

Ability to work independently and as a team member

Required/Minimum Qualifications

10 years of work experience with human resources or related processes (e.g., hiring, training, performance management) involving applicable employment laws and policies

OR Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field AND 7 years of work experience with human resources or related processes (e.g., hiring, training, performance management) involving applicable employment laws and policies

Additional Or Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field

Human Resources Professional Certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM)

Responsibilities

Assess and administer HR policies, processes and workflows

Collaborate cross functionally with leadership and key shareholders to identify areas of improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency

Continuously improve upon the employee experience to employees such as onboarding, offboarding and key touchpoints in between

Partner with leaders to create a safe and inclusive working environment which regularly solicits feedback

Create and implement strategies for succession planning, career pathing and talent development

Partner with the Recruiting team on workforce planning, employer branding and diversity initiatives

Strong work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence; be comfortable with high volume workload, hands-on and not be afraid to roll up your sleeves
