What's the opportunity? 🤔
The Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics will lead the marketing analytics team, which owns all marketing datasets, reports, and analysis. This role will partner with key stakeholders within and outside of marketing to answer key business questions, and provide analysis to improve campaign performance. They’ll also own the roadmap for new datasets and metrics.
The perfect candidate for this role takes a consultative approach to solving business problems with non-technical partners. They’re capable of distilling complex ideas and data into logical insights and recommendations. Finally, they’re effective in prioritizing work and pairing the resources of a remote team to the greatest possible business impact.
What will I be doing? 🚀
Manage a distributed team of marketing analytics professionals with skills ranging from data modeling & data science to channel-specific analysis expertise.
Own the marketing analytics project request pipeline & sprint process, prioritizing & assigning work and managing stakeholder expectations & timelines.
Step in to assist with high visibility analysis & reporting needs
Develop processes & frameworks for repeatability in common analysis asks
Serve as an internal champion for analytics concepts and best practices
Recruit, hire and train new analytics staff across varying levels of experience and seniority.
Partner with cross-functional analytics teams, data science and marketing operations teams to uphold data quality standards, and evaluate new marketing data sources & tooling.
What skills do I need? 📖
A management style centered around trust, mentorship and individual empowerment, with the ability to dive into the technical details when needed.
Deep technical experience in B2B marketing analytics & web analytics best practices, with strong hands on experience with common B2B martech & GTM tools and their related data models.
Experience with modern data stack technologies, ELT/ETL, cloud data warehousing, BI platforms
Years of experience in a technical individual contributor role within marketing analytics.
Ability to build trusted relationships across marketing teams, managing expectations, and pushing back on unrealistic requests.
Experience working in an agile environment: scoping work, managing sprint capacity, and running retrospectives.
