The Internal Audit Lead is part of the leadership team within Internal Audit Consulting Group (IACG) and supports the strategic initiatives of the department. This role requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across department(s) and the enterprise. The Internal Audit Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
The Internal Audit Lead is part a team of highly specialized professionals and influences goals of overall team. The Internal Audit Lead exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision. Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action. The position will be part of an integrated team that believes that collaboration, agility, resourcefulness and attention to detail are keys to success.
Detailed role responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Effectively leads the design, development, and implementation of strategic initiatives
Accountable for delivering process improvement, innovation and automation
Responsible for advancing the effectiveness of the assurance map which includes further development and maintenance of module within audit solution, metrics, and reporting
Deploys a proactive and consultative approach to providing strategic thought leadership to identify and address complex issues
Advanced communication skills in presenting to management, specifically at the VP and SVP level through verbal and written reporting to effectively interact with various levels of management
Collaboration with other leads and department leadership to drive processes and initiatives
Contributes to department audit plan by leading audits as part of a tiger team
Responsible for regulatory exam coordination requests of the department
Sustains relationships with vendors and responsible for contract maintenance
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
8 or more years of audit or consulting experience
2 or more years of management experience
Successful track record in facilitating and consulting across teams and managing projects
Likes to focus on the big picture and thrives in a fast paced, multi-project work environment
Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Implementation and execution skills; problem solving skills
Aptitude for establishing working relationships with associates within the department and the business
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, PMP, CFE
Advanced degree preferred
Data Analytics / Business Intelligence experience a plus. Prior experience with data analytics tools, including but not limited to, PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, R & Python
Six Sigma Black Belt, Process Improvement and/or Quality Control expertise
