ROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Commute & Transportation Services team manages transportation planning and transportation demand management (TDM) programs for a large Puget Sound campus and corporate office facilities across North America. The team is dedicated to providing employees with a variety of innovative transportation options that reduce their reliance on driving alone.
JOB SUMMARY
The TDM Program Manager will work closely with the Sr. Transportation Program Manager and other stakeholders to develop and manage a variety of TDM and campus mobility programs for a large corporate campus as well as corporate offices dispersed across North America. Manage and improve on-demand or flexible carpooling, TNC services, and other creative commute options; ensure compliance with all air quality regulations; promote biking and walking options; manage TMA partnerships; and develop new pilots and technology solutions designed to reduce drive-alone commuting. Oversee all program data collection and financial analysis. This position manages a small team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and central liaison on all matters related campus mobility.
Develop analyses, short range and long range plans that address current and future mobility requirements across a broad portfolio of worksites.
Lead the review and development of advanced technology, both web and app-based, to build best-in-class, technology-oriented mobility programs.
Respond to customer questions and concerns, as well as high-visibility escalations, in a timely, coherent, and service-oriented manner.
Facilitate data analysis and reporting for supported program elements across a portfolio of sites, including participation data, , environmental impact, and financials.
Ensure site-level budgets are met.
Plan and develop customized TDM programs. Program elements may include rideshare, transit, ride-hail, walking, bicycling, shuttles, and employee engagement programs.
Lead conversations with transit agencies, Transportation Management Associations (TMAs), public officials and internal stakeholders to identify, fund and implement transit and other commute-related improvement projects.
Partner with Procurement to source required vendors. Partner with Legal department to draft and negotiate transportation-related contracts for supported programs.
Position may require management of commute-related air quality compliance programs, including data collection, employee surveys, and reporting.
Contract with third-party vendors to perform specialized services as needed, including traffic counts, infrastructure design, EV charging, etc.
Meet onsite with site-level leaders in order to understand site-level requirements, build relationships, communicate program requirements, and develop positive ongoing working relationships.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
BA/BS in urban planning, real estate, geography, business, sustainability, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
4-6 years of experience, not including internships or coursework, working in transportation demand management or related field where relevant skills can be demonstrated.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and pro-actively manage workload and time.
Enthusiasm for / interest in sustainable transportation.
Desire to travel up to 10% of time.
Intellectual curiosity and a desire for continuous improvement.

OTHER SKILLS AND/OR ABILITIES
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Intermediate knowledge of ArcGIS preferred
Good organization and time management skills.
Strong problem-solving skills. Highly adaptable and flexible.

Communicate any / all potential workplace hazards and workplace procedures.
