Position Overview
The Brightcove Enterprise product team is looking for a strong product leader to transform internal communications to a video first strategy within large enterprise businesses. This role will be focused on building products and features that serve our Enterprise customer base and prioritizing features based on use cases, customer value, and business impact. This role is the intersection for engineering, design, marketing, sales, customer success, onboarding, and support. The Senior Product Manager will work closely with our customer base and our internal teams to build solutions that best meet our customer and business needs.
The Senior Product Manager role is focused on owning the vision and customer roadmap for internal communications use cases. Brightcove maintains a great number of customer accounts with complex needs and we seek someone who can build solutions that enable teams to effectively collaborate within their unique business culture. You’ll work cross-functionally with the entire Brightcove team to evaluate how we can help our customers take their video strategy to the next level.
Job Responsibilities
You’ll have 3 initial key areas of focus:
You’ll gain a deep understanding of use cases for internal communications
You’ll partner with all levels of Product Management to build an internal communications vision and solution that supports the customer use cases
Define the product strategy, roadmap, and business cases for internal communications
A successful Senior Product Manager in the Brightcove Enterprise team will use both qualitative and quantitative skills to assess product usage data, market research, customer feedback, design feedback, and sales feedback to propose improvements that will drive our applications to winning positions in the market. An Enterprise Senior Product Manager can easily pivot in response to changing market conditions and business needs.
Qualifications/Experience
5 years hands on product management experience
Strong experience working with large-scale B2C and B2B and/or B2B2C products
You have built products from scratch, taken them to market, and maintained successful adoption
Proven outstanding team collaboration including strong written and verbal communication skills
High ability to deal with ambiguity and turn feedback into accurately defined requirements that contribute to a robust platform - help expand the quality of our thinking.
Passion for video technology and digital video; you want to be a part of the revolution that is taking place in redefining how digital video is consumed
Experience working with UX creators to define customer experiences
Comfortable working in a geographically distributed organization
Demonstrated experience interacting with all levels of management
Bonus, nice to have:
Experience with video and audio content in an enterprise to increase awareness, drive adoption, share information and educate employees, partners, and other internal stakeholders
Experience working with marketing teams, video production teams, and other internal stakeholders related to curating, distributing, and measuring video content
