This role leads strategy, thought leadership, design and content creation of Sales Enablement for the Commercial organization across all development areas (skills, product, technology, applications). This includes development and implementation of multi-year strategy and roadmap design that aligns with organizational strategy, goals and generates results that have significant impact. The role drives change across the organization through engagement of the leadership team and down through the organization by ensuring that programs are designed to challenge the leaders and team members, and measure impact. This role requires expertise in change management. Quality control of training delivered to team members and brokers falls within scope to ensure that there is consistency and high quality in all materials, product knowledge and cutting information and delivery. In addition, this role is responsible for end to end lifecycle development of our team members from onboarding through their careers with Tyson by leveraging their internal team members, corporate resources and HR, to ensure we are utilizing all resources at our disposal. The Commercial Development Trainee Program, the Commercial Internship Program and field clarity surrounding application use and benefits also fall under this leader.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Develops strategy and roadmap around all Commercial Sales Enablement programs.

Develops goals for the Commercial organization as documented in the annual Commercial Scorecard

Liaises with other teams across the organization to ensure we maximize both the use of programs developed by Commercial where applicable and the use of content created outside of Commercial to ensure impact and leverage economies of scale.

Owns relationships and negotiations with external parties providing both content and resources for skill development.

Leads the execution of these selling skills programs in order to guide growth and measurement of our leaders and team members.

Develops and implements measurement strategies to ensure impact and ROI/ROE of programs and initiatives.

Work with HR partners to map roles and competencies for the Commercial organization in order to link training requirements to competencies

Lead a strategy across the commercial organization to embed learning in the culture

Supports over 1,600 TM’s and extended brokers on all sales content.

Leads all product training as scripted within Tyson University

Instills use of technology in order to maximize reach and effectiveness of MeatUp podcasts

Leads the strategy and execution of the curriculum and intent for the Commercial Development Trainee Program leading to broader bench strength for Commercial.

Leads the strategy development of Commercial onboarding for all Commercial team members.

Manage the recruiting initiative for Interns and CDTs.

Works closely with communications to drive messaging, marketing materials, content management of all areas under this role’s purview.

Ensures financial fitness through effective budget management and scale where appropriate. Manage budgets and CIR spending

Essential Job Responsibilities:

12 years of progressive experience in leadership, change management.

Excellent project management, communication, coaching skills

Expert level TEAM leadership and engagement skills

Expert level capability to embed technology in programming

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Strong leadership capabilities, high emotional intelligence and proven, inquisitive learning agility.

Ability to engage senior executives in a compelling manner with clarity of purpose

Deep knowledge of consumer goods sales and trade investment competencies

Exceptional strategic and analytical capabilities

Travel 20%
