Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sr. Vice President of Retail Sales & Service to lead our retail sales and service teams. In this critical role, this leader will be responsible for leading all aspects of Xfinity's retail strategy and will focus on delivering consistency in customer experience as well as integrated omni-channel experience. This role will require strong partnership with key leaders across the Company in areas of Product, Marketing, Supply Chain, eCommerce, Technology and our field teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in retail sales and customer service, as well as a deep understanding of retail operations and marketing strategies.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
Lead with compelling strategic vision that is in alignment with the Company's short and long-term goals and strategic plan.
Define a retail and distribution strategy, engaging key stakeholders and executing on a plan that is in alignment with the long-range plan to drive revenue, customer satisfaction and increase market share. This will include developing strategic and operational plans for the team, managing execution, measurement and delivering results
Lead contract negotiations with 3rd party business partners for alternate channel distribution.
Lead and manage a team of retail sales and service professionals, providing direction, coaching, and performance feedback to achieve sales and service targets.
Develop and manage retail sales and service budgets, ensuring financial targets are achieved.
Constantly monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues, and risks in order to recommend strategies and tactics for current and future store locations.
Oversee the development of sales and service training programs for retail staff, ensuring that all team members have the necessary skills, knowledge and confidence to succeed in their roles.
Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective retail merchandising, marketing campaigns and promotions to identify and capitalize on emerging market trends.
Expertise in real estate strategies including a deep understanding of how to translate demographic and other data in determining the right locations for new or existing stores.
Liaise between Product, Marketing, Finance, Technology, Human Resources and Supply Chain to ensure products and services are meeting and exceeding customer expectations; collaborate and influence relationships across headquarters and the field to maximize sales.
Monitor and analyze retail sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and to make data-driven decisions to optimize sales and service performance.
Represent the company in external retail industry events and conferences, building relationships with key stakeholders and maintaining a strong presence in the retail community.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
10 years of experience in retail sales and service, with at least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record of success in driving retail sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
Must have experience as a leader who can influence people, processes and technology choices in a manner that enriches the company's culture and overall sales team performance.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve ambitious targets.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Must have a successful track record of leadership in a complex matrix structure, where influencing skills are critical.
Must be highly adept and capable of building and maintaining trusting partnerships and relationships across all levels of the company as well as with the company's external consumer, retail and cross-functional partners.
Deep understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and store layout.
Strong knowledge of retail marketing strategies and trends, and the ability to develop effective campaigns and promotions.
Experience with retail technology and software, such as point-of-sale systems and customer relationship management tools.
