The Safety and Security team protects our people, assets and facilities across the globe. To accomplish our mission, we are seeking a Health & Security Manager to lead our program and drive initiatives throughout the Americas. This role will report directly into the Sr. Manager Health and Security.Our ideal candidate interacts positively with partners across the full spectrum of business units and demonstrates ownership of results. The candidate will lead and establish a safe culture through training and awareness, setting policies and standards, consulting and supporting Splunk, while achieving regulatory compliance. Additionally the leader will respond and assist with incidents throughout the region.Responsibilities:Strategic oversight for Americas Environmental, Health & SafetyDevelop site specific health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.Implement and manage daily oversight of health and safety procedures to ensure compliance is maintained.Ensure compliance and maintain all health and safety documentation and risk assessments.Assist the project team with managing on-site contractors and clients regarding health and safety requirements.Conduct site safety inspections.Implement and lead all aspects of on-site H&S inductions, required training and drills.Conduct investigations of accidents and near miss reports.Manage regional Emergency Response Program including accurate and well communicated localized Emergency Response Plans.Develop awareness materials and training.Chair AMER Safety Working Group and report into the Safety Committee.Liaise with the Wellbeing and Ergonomic Programs leads.Develop and implement data driven strategies for leading and lagging H&S indicatorsRequirements:CSP certificationDemonstrated ability leading a regional health and safety program with validated experience of building successful employee engagement and compliance programs.Great demeanor and partner-facing demeanor, including being reliable, effective and efficientPassionate about building and maintaining a safe and secure work environment for SplunkersAbility to balance multiple programs with limited oversightWe value diversity at our company.
