Position location: Chicago is the preferred location, however, remote locations will also be considered.
Job Purpose/Summary:
As the eCommerce Content Manager, you will drive the overall digital shelf content strategy and own end-to-end creation and optimization of product content across all Tyson Retail Brands. This role will be focused on driving organic search performance and conversion of our products through the creation of best-in-class product content and optimizing performance through measurement. It will require close collaboration with brand teams and agency partners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Content Management:
Serve as the subject matter expert for eCommerce content best practices, benchmarking, content creation and ongoing performance measurement
Collaborate with Sr. Manager Digital Shelf to develop content strategies, roadmaps, prioritization, and measurement plans to drive online growth
Stay apprised of industry trends and content best practices
Partner with Sr. Analyst Digital Shelf to maintain data within content syndication platforms (Syndigo, Nielsen Brandbank, Label Insights and others) to ensure content is accurate and up to date
Proactively partner with CDM’s to understand shifting retailer requirements, prioritizing compliance with content and product information effectively
Develop retailer-specific attributes to ensure content is optimized for priority partners
Work collaboratively with brand, digital capabilities, customer teams, and vendor partners to ensure that the process to develop and deliver digital shelf content runs smoothly and efficiently
Develop and provide educational materials on best-in-class content and digital shelf performance to increase knowledge and skills of broader marketing organization
Lead the creation of digital content that is engaging and persuasive to bring our brands to life. This includes but is not limited to optimized imagery, SEO copy, Enhanced Content, Videos
Own digital shelf data from multiple sources and partner with Sr. Analyst on eCommerce dashboard, maintaining accurate data
Lead eCommerce SEO and content strategy to increase product awareness and drive conversion for our brands, sharing out in quarterly meetings with the BU’s
Partner with Commerce marketing on an integrated search strategy (organic/paid)
Content Measurement:
Leverage digital shelf health tools (Salsify/Retailer score cards) to track compliance and performance of content across priority retailers, benchmark competition, identify gaps / opportunities and drive corrective action plan implementation
Partner with Sr. eCommerce Analyst for reporting on digital shelf performance including brand/retailer health, share of shelf/share of voice performance for eCommerce dashboard
Work with account teams to determine what metrics and requirements retailers are using to measure their own digital shelf (i.e. Target’s Content Report Card)
Address any content errors or issues by ensuring the source of truth in Salsify is correct – and address any gaps or issues upstream in the process as needed
Improve digital shelf content effectiveness by using measurement & KPI’s to unlock insights and opportunities for impact
Requirements:
Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in eCommerce or digital shelf
Experience working in eCommerce content development for top eRetailers, such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, Kroger
•Food & Beverage experience strongly preferred
•Experience with Profitero (or comparable tool) strongly preferred
Deep understanding of share of shelf, share of voice, and similar digital shelf measurement data
Experience collaborating and influencing cross-functional teams and business partners
Communication Skills: Highly collaborative – with an ability to lead through influence
Supervisory: NA
Travel: 3-6 domestic trips annually
