The Legal Department of JPMorgan Chase & Co provides legal services and advice to the Firm globally. Legal is responsible for, among other things: managing actual and potential litigation and enforcement matters, including internal reviews and investigations related to such matters advising on products and services, including contract negotiation and documentation advising on offering and marketing documents and new business initiatives managing dispute resolution interpreting existing laws, rules and regulations, and advising on changes thereto advising on advocacy in connection with contemplated and proposed laws, rules and regulations, andproviding legal advice to the Board of Directors, the business and functions. Legal selects, engages and manages outside counsel for the Firm on all matters in which outside counsel is engaged. The ideal candidate will support the CCB Legal department’s project management needs. The person filling this position needs prior project management experience in a high volume, fast paced environment. The role requires significant cross-functional collaboration, including, but not limited to, various LOB lawyers, relevant Compliance contacts, information technology partners, branch representitives, and business leaders. The successful candidate will report to the Group's Program Manager and work very closely with different lawyers for the Group to build a successful program to ensure the firm is competitive and stays in compliance with the rapidly-evolving federal, state, and other rules that may apply to our highly regulated industry. The ability to distill complex process concepts into digestible and understandable tracking components is critical to this position. The successful candidate must have strong analytical and collaborative skills, be able to work independently and be a true “self-starter.” The successful candidate must also be able to communicate, both verbally and in writing, effectively and succinctly with all levels of management. Intermediate to Advanecd level of experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio is also required. Primary Duties will include: Have an organized approach to ensure projects and legal deliverables associated with those projects are closely monitored, tracked and managed to meet business, regulatory,compliance, and auditrequirements;Work closely with the Program Manager and senior attorneys to strategize and spearhead various regulatory requirement and business improvement related projects;Own the activities of regularly following up on project tasks, maintaining project timelines, managining project budgets, and ensuring projects are properly resourced.Prepare executive presentations; including but not limited to supporting Project Kickoffs, regular Project Status, and maintaining Project Storyboards.Promote effective use of existing tools and processes (and propose eliminating those that are not used or are ineffective);Identify and support the development of new capabilities;Identify/develop and report on metrics to best manage the program. Minimum of 8-10 years project
management experience;Demonstrated leadership,
