Our Team

The Pure Storage Customer Solution Center (CSC) provides resources that showcase the Pure Storage product portfolio. These resources include: physical/virtual solutions labs, bootcamps, Hands-on Labs and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).

This Position

We are looking for an outstanding Principal Product Marketing Manager who will be responsible for leading the application development of an internal tool that automates the creation of Enterprise Sales Proposals for Pure GTM team and Partners. This position collaborates closely with product management, corporate marketing and engineering teams and leads cross-functional efforts to help launch product messaging to differentiate our products from others in the market. The Principal Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for gathering and analyzing competitive market intelligence, pricing and packaging based on market research data, and lead the development and automation Sales Proposals positioning around Pure’s products.. The candidate will manage feature launch cycles, craft the messaging and positioning for Pure Storage’s products to attract new prospects and customers by creating customer and partner facing materials that align with the customer's needs. This position requires the Senior Principal Product Marketing Manager to have an understanding of the enterprise storage technologies and the competitive landscape, and be able to analyze and document Pure Storage's positioning, as well as understand the concerns of enterprise buyers, such as CxO, data center and cloud architects, and the business value that will appeal to them.

Responsibilities:

Automate the creation of Sales Proposals differentiating product positioning, value propositions and messaging for FlashArray, FlashBlade, Cloud Block Store and Portworx products

Work with product marketing, engineering, pricing and sales teams to ensure messaging is aligned with product capabilities

Collaborate with product teams and customers to create clear proof points illustrating product value propositions and differentiation

Worked with cross-functional teams on Product Development from planning, requirement gathering, testing, development, deployment and performance measurement

Create & deliver best-in-class content associated with product messaging

Act as a corporate liaison between the FlashArray, FlashBlade and Portworx Business Unit and the field sales teams

Collaborate with the IT team to integrate sfdc and cpq with the internal assessment & proposal tool

Leverage appropriate Cloud/AWS services and validate the environment to meets all security and compliance controls

Develop and maintain deep relationships with the field sales & pre-sales teams

Be the Product evangelist and expert on how customers buy & what they are buying

Know competitor’s product portfolio and the verticals where they excel

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

10 years of experience working in Storage, Cloud and Virtualization industry

Experience designing, testing, and operating production services

Experience with AWS and VMware enterprise implementations

Strong understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies

Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus
