ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversees breeder service technicians.Maintains company vaccination program and monitors bird health for optimal performance.Maintains competitive performance benchmarked against AgriStats comparisons.Interfaces with growers for compliance with environmental laws and regulations.Produces quality live breeders under the direction of the breeder manager and Pilgrim\u2019s.Ensures all animal welfare programs are enforced.Provides training and a positive environment designed to motivate field personnel.Provides positive interaction with growers to build constructive relationships between growers and PPC.Maintains safety programs.Manages the upgrades of breeder housing to comply with company specifications/standards.\u00A0EDUCATION: Typically requires a Bachelor\u2019s degree in a poultry science or related field. EXPERIENCE: Typically requires greater than 2 up to 5 years of DIRECTLY RELATED experience.\u00A0 Experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirement. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION: Current driver's license and good driving record. EOE/Vet/Disabled
