Job Summary
The Programmatic Operations team at Effectv sits within the Client Care & Services organization and works with a variety of stakeholders, including Yield, Media Planning, and Sales to deliver our programmatic campaign objectives. The team provides ad trafficking, campaign management, reporting, and technical support to execute programmatic media campaigns that meet performance goals. As the Sr Manager, Programmatic Operations, you will play a central role in growing the programmatic operations at Effectv. This role will partner and work closely with senior leadership to develop a streamlined operational setup for maximizing programmatic revenue. You will use your deep analytical and technical skills to define innovative solutions to complex programmatic business problems and you will use your strong, interpersonal communication skills to work effectively across all levels within our organization and manage the Programmatic Operations team. You will drive efficiency and design long-term solutions to provide operational excellence. Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with inventory, planning , and product teams to triage and resolve day-to-day issues and requests pertaining to Effectv 's programmatic platform
Manage and mentor the Programmatic Operations team to help resolve campaign delivery and technical bid activity issues
Develop a streamlined operational workflow for optimizing campaigns and maximizing programmatic revenue
Work closely with Sales team to address client support and deal setup questions
Participate in technical calls with DSPs, agencies, etc., as needed and serve as subject matter expert
Review and analyze bid data and historical marketplace activity to improve campaign performance and delivery
Regularly connect with the Network Configuration team to ensure new inventory metadata is mapped correctly for programmatic
Partner with the Product team to help drive the Programmatic roadmap
Hire and train new programmatic operations analysts to provide scale
Provide general understanding and education of Programmatic principles , in conjunction with execution expectations , to stakeholders
Create robust documentation for internal programmatic Wiki
Stay abreast of relevant market trends, emerging technologies , and competitor offerings
Qualifications
7-10 years related online advertising industry experience
Minimum 6 years of experience in digital ad operations and programmatic advertising
Mini m um 5 years of leadership and client facing experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Operational experience with programmatic technology platforms
Knowledge of openRTB specs and VAST, VPAID
Hands on experience with video ad servers ( e.g. FreeWheel, LiveRail )
Solid understanding of video DSP and SSP auction dynamics, CTV/OTT, DAI/SSAI ad serving
Strong track record of analytical and technical problem solving
Ability to dive into programmatic bid data and identify source of bid activity issue
A bility to effectively communicat e to stakeholders and manage sales need s
Proactive in catching issues and creating long term solutions
Process oriented to develop best practices and train team
Collaborate individual who can accomplish goals working across multiple teams
