This is an exciting opportunity to join the University’s Development and Alumni Office. The Development Manager will lead on fundraising for a number of key projects. With an individual six-figure annual target, you will manage a prospect pool of individuals and organisations, with a particular focus on individual relationships. Day-to-day you will demonstrate excellence in your interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively on your own initiative and as a member of a small focussed team. You will build successful relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. This is an ideal role for a hands-on fundraiser with experience of higher education. You will have relevant experience in the Higher Education or charity sectors and a proven record of major gift fundraising and meeting financial targets. You will have the skills needed to build and foster strong relationships with academics and donors.
