Manage the day-to-day operations of the media agencies and ensure both our internal and external partners are maximizing their relationships. Educate and reinforce standards to optimize how BMS leverages and executes media across the customer journey (primarily patients, physicians, and payers). Ensure we are being financially accurate and achieving predetermined goals according to budgets and goals for the agencies and the business. Provides specific subject matter expertise on social media
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to the US business for Media operations, strategy and execution
Create and establish standards, best practices and advancements in how BMS leverages Media, with a specific emphasis on social media
Establish deeper, strategic relationships with key Media providers including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and LinkedIn.
Drive greater emphasis on leveraging social and other digital & traditional media channels together to drive the maximum impact on behalf of our brands
Explore and partner across the matrix on innovative solutions such as advertising on emerging social platforms, new ad formats, etc. to drive advancements in social media
Drive continuous education and improvement across all media activities
Builds and maintains subject matter expertise on BMS and external/industry capabilities with a specific emphasis on social media
Provides input into agency and/or vendor selection and management of agencies /vendors
Develops and maintains operational model, standards and capability roadmap in partnership with key stakeholders
Collaborates across the BMS organization (WEPCC, Information Technology, Business Units, Legal, Regulatory and Medical on key activities like planning, prioritizing, and implementation support for key media strategies
Identifies needs for media solutions across the enterprise and escalates to the WEPCC team leaders
Supports analytics KPIs/Measurement plans, optimization and insights of monthly activity/quarterly impact and integrates with rest of marketing mix and media optimization
Provides training and education for US internal WEPCC and Brand stakeholders to enable media pull through across markets and businesses.
Drives innovation culture and coordinates with marketing leads to develop innovative media tactics and apply metrics / analytics
Identifies opportunities for synergies and collaboration within and across the BMS enterprise

Minimum Requirements
6 years' experience focused on media strategy and execution.
Proven track record developing and executing media campaigns to achieve superior results, demonstrating data-driven strategic thinking, experimentation, customer orientation, and operational excellence
Hands on experience managing paid social media strategy and execution, preferred experience in other digital media channels as well
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to assess business results of media tactics, define appropriate metrics / KPIs, and maximize value of marketing investment
Proven track record of collaborating with other teams and delivering results on budget, schedule and strategy
Excellent project management skills, including experience selecting/directing agencies and vendors
Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Experience and knowledge of the Legal/Medical/Regulatory review process
Experience working in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry preferred
Experience working at a media agency preferred
