Aon is looking for an Accounting Director - Health & Wealth This role will be primarily focused on overseeing and leading Aon PLC’s financial control, accounting and reporting for all in scope US Health and Wealth entities in order to maintain a robust financial reporting environment. Lead the Health and Wealth Controllership team with a focus on I&D, colleague engagement and career development.Ensure Best Practice standards are in place and consistently applied, including ensuring compliance with the requirements of Aon Corporate Controllership and Sarbanes OxleyMaintain a robust financial control environmentProactively work to resolve internal and external audit queriesFocus on enhanced balance sheet review and analysis, ensuring quality account reconciliations and periodic reviews with businesses and corporate organization (i.e. Accounting Operations Reviews)Develop and maintain a strong partnership with the FP&A leadership across in-scope Health and Wealth entities to collaborate and problem solve on financial issues, assist in interpretation and application of accounting policies and ensure accountability for all aspects of financial control are robustLead month end close including post close activities (ie Account Reconciliations)Lead Large Contract reviews to ensure revenue is recorded in the appropriate period and with the right support.
