How You Can Make An ImpactAs\u00A0the\u00A0Director of Security\u00A0at Geneva Trading,\u00A0you will partner with our team to develop\u00A0and oversee policies and programs\u00A0related to cyber risk, intellectual property, etc. The ideal person in this role is comfortable managing the security of critical systems end-to-end. (Network, security, IP leakage, infrastructure, applications, etc.)\u00A0 Mitigate\u00A0or reduce\u00A0cyber risk as well as intellectual property,\u00A0compliance, operational, strategic,\u00A0financial\u00A0and reputational\u00A0risk\u00A0faced by Geneva\u2019s\u00A0employees, contractors, consultants, assets, and other property.\u00A0This role calls for\u00A0planning, designing, testing, implementing, maintaining,\u00A0and auditing\u00A0the\u00A0organization\u2019s\u00A0security of\u00A0critical\u00A0systems, such as\u00A0infrastructure, firewalls, networks and cloud environments\u00A0as well as\u00A0Active Directory, Atlassian\u00A0Suite,\u00A0databases,\u00A0trading\u00A0software\u00A0and\u00A0infrastructure and other\u00A0technologies used by\u00A0the\u00A0Accounting, Compliance, Operations\u00A0and Risk\u00A0Teams.What You'll Do Develop a complete understanding of current security operations and develop security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures to improve our environment Plan, research, and design robust security architecture for new projects and technologies Introduce security\u00A0roadmap\u00A0chartering new security protocols, architecture, best practices, resources, milestones, training. Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures, projects,\u00A0and technologies; recommend changes\u00A0and\u00A0enhancements Review installation of firewalls, VPN, routers, IDS scanning technologies,\u00A0and\u00A0proprietary data systems Test and\u00A0monitor security systems to\u00A0ensure reliability Execute\u00A0vulnerability testing, risk analyses, and security assessments Coordinate with outside consultants to conduct independent security audits Analyze and monitor security threats to the firm\u2019s information systems, our intellectual property, and technology vendors who host the firm\u2019s assets Perform incident responses and investigate security breaches and deployment of security solutions to mitigate live threats in real-time Identify\u00A0current and emerging security threats;\u00A0communicate vital information, security needs, and priorities to senior management\u00A0What You\u2019ll Need\u00A0Proven leader and hands-on SME in cyber security and IT.8 years\u00A0of cybersecurity experience managing security infrastructure such as firewalls, IPS, WAF, endpoint protection,\u00A0XDR,\u00A0SIEM/SOAR\u00A0and\u00A0other security\u00A0auditing\u00A0technologies.Relevant security certifications (GWAPT, CISSP, OSCP, or other similar certs)Experience in the following areas: Establishing\u00A0and communicating corporate security governance/assurance practices\u00A0developing and implementing tactical security solutions to meet overall data security strategy\u00A0developing subject matter expertise in topics to include network, database, wireless and application security assessments, and adversarial network operations\u00A0experience with common network vulnerability assessment techniques and tools such as: Nmap, Nessus, Nexpose, Qualys,\u00A0AppDetective\u00A0or other similar\u00A0experience with NIDS/HIDS, network and application firewalls, proxies and other information security products\u00A0knowledge of NIST, CIS,\u00A0COBIT, ISO27002 as well as other industry recognized IS standards and best practicesFamiliarity with federal and state privacy lawBachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, information security systems, or\u00A0similar field of study.Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or CertificationsStrong leadership\u00A0skills with the\u00A0ability to interact and communicate effectively with management, risk peers, and staff at all levels across business and technology functions.Proven track record of being results oriented with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goalsStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong consultative skills at a cross-functional level.Demonstrated ability to build consensus among many stakeholder.Highly trustworthy; leads by example.\u00A0Who We Are\u00A0Geneva Trading LLC is a global principal trading firm founded in 1999 with offices in Chicago and Dublin.
