What will I be doing?

As a Lead Delivery Manager, you will handle the technology delivery responsible for planning, supporting, and implementing strategic projects and initiatives. You will be embedded with the Software Engineering team and works with different domain architects and delivery leads to handle timelines to ensure successful and timely delivery.

As a Lead Delivery Manager, you will own the tactical execution of multiple projects. You are also responsible for pulling together the vital project leads and leading them through the planning, execution, and delivery of initiatives (maintenance, projects, programs, etc.). Your deep understanding and experience in technology delivery surrounding waterfall, PMP, and Agile (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) methodologies will contribute to our success. You will be responsible for running the delivery function for the PEP Team and maintaining the delivery roadmap in conjunction with the Director. More specifically, you will:

Build and maintain delivery plans and release schedules in partnership with Technology leads, architects, and development teams

You will cultivate and improve current processes and tools; identifying, designing, training, and implementing new processes as needed

Look across platforms, programs, and projects to identify dependencies, risks, and issues and then mitigate and resolve

Work with enterprise processes (waterfall, agile, governance process, etc.)

Will be accountable for managing Jira backlog and coordinating with other teams for dependencies

Build a deep understanding of the Hilton brands, current projects, and upcoming initiatives

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

Five (5) years of professional experience in a technology/product environment

Four (4) years of Technology project management experience

Three (3) years of delivery experience

Knowledge of Agile and Scrum

Ability to travel up to 10%

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate degree plus 6 years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12 years of Technology related experience

Seven (7) years of professional experience in a technology/product environment

Six (6) years of Technology project management experience

Five (5) years of delivery experience
