Finance Chief Data Office (CDO) is a newly formed team to establish the data governance framework across Finance. The team partners with the Data Strategy and Digital groups to execute the data disciplines. We support data consumers to drive data quality across Finance functions, including accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, CFO teams and corporate treasury. We aim to provide transparency of our data asset and actively manage the asset to contribute to the fulfilment of regulatory requirements and creation of operational efficiency. The CDO function plays a critical role in the transformation of the organization by connecting data, technology, processes and controls. As part of the Finance Digital Transformation program, we are looking for an individual to help drive the Finance Data and Report Automation initiatives. The individual would be responsible for the coordination effort of creating a golden source of data for Finance and streamlining this data for automated reporting with Business Intelligence tools (i.e. Cubus EV, Power BI, Cognos). A strong candidate excels at relationship building, leading Agile scrum, business analysis, data analytics and project management capabilities. The resource will be supporting multiple Finance program initiatives (Data Quality Improvement, Operations, Data Streamlining and Report Automation) as a Project Manager. The main support areas and qualifications for this function are the following: Support the Program manager with end to end project management activities such as project planning, scope management, estimation, schedules, tracking progress / issue / risks and related project artifacts Business analysis capabilities for requirements gathering, build out of process flow diagrams and data analytics for overall reporting metrics (i.e. reporting inventory)Lead Agile Jira scrum for the Reporting Team and facilitate planning sessions, retrospectives, sprint reviews and story groomingPartner with stakeholders (Operations and Data Quality) as well as all FM&A to conduct testing, production parallel and adoption of new processes Key Responsibilities Manages and oversees the end to end project management activities such as project planning, scope management, estimation, schedules, tracking progress / issue / risks and related project artifacts Develops detailed project plans and schedules with leads across spectrum of projects in Finance CDO org e.g. Data Quality, DataMart Platform Re-architecture, BI Reports development and Operations etc.Facilitates adoption of appropriate project management tools and techniques. Setup and lead scrum calls to Identify, capture and report on scope, deliverables, milestones and any dependencies to other data related initiatives in Finance e.g. Finance Data as a Service program.Assist in defining processes to automate and effectively monitor data quality and BI reports development issues and facilitate follow-through with cross-track stakeholders.Set up JIRA instance to enable tickets management and reporting in conjunction with other Data Quality and governance toolsFacilitate issues remediation with relevant teams (Sources, Technology, Business, Finance, etc.)Identify areas of process improvement and make recommendations for long-term solutionsStatus reporting to senior management on Finance CDO teams project milestones, risks and mitigations ','!*! Project management experience required in waterfall and agile environments, preferably in financial industry and data quality or data governance related projects.Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required.5-7 years of total work experience in Project Management preferred.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Prince2 certification is preferred.Proficient in project management tools such as MS Office, MS Project, VisioProficient in files and tickets management systems like JIRA, Sharepoint, ConfluenceCompetency with some data governance tools – Collibra, IMT, IDQCompetency with some leading data profiling tools (such as SQL, BI tools – Power BI, Alteryx etc.)Ability to work independently and with distributed teams (i.e. physically located in other regions).Exposure with finance data sets and process: Balance Sheet, P&L, Consolidations, Client Product Profitability, liquidity analytics and reporting, interest rate risk management, asset-liability management, regulatory reporting, is strongly preferred.
